Gareth has worked in genetics since 2001, holding a range of technical and scientific roles within genomic laboratory services. Since the establishment of the Central and South Genomic Laboratory Hub (GLH), he has served as the Data and Informatics Lead, helping to shape the data and informatics infrastructure that supports genomic diagnostics. Gareth currently holds a joint role across the GLH and the Genomic Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA), working across the data, digital and informatics landscape to support the delivery and integration of genomic services.
